Never a dull moment with Tori!

The other day, I heard Tori giggling away in the living room while I was doing my best to put some laundry away. I walked around the corner to find a very proud baby girl. Her accomplishment? Finding Andrew's Elmo underwear and figuring out how to put them on. Yes, she managed to do it herself and was QUITE proud.

Hmmm...interesting!

Borrowed this from my friend, Carrie!

What Your Fridge Says About You

You like to be surrounded by things you love. You aren't exactly greedy, but you can be materialistic at times.

You tend to be a fairly thrifty person. You splurge occasionally, but you're mostly a saver.

You don't tend to be a very adventurous person, but you do surprise everyone now and then. You have a bit of a wild side.

You are responsible, together, and mature. You act like an adult, even when you don't feel like it.

You are likely to be married - and very busy.

Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there!

Tonight I am tired from a full week of work and lots of chaos. But, no matter what, I am always blessed with an awesome husband who loves me and loves his babies.

Happy Father's Day, Mark! I love you oodles and gobs!

It made me laugh...

My auntie sent it to my momma and my momma sent it to me and it made me laugh:

"Live your life in such a way that when your feet hit the floor in the morning, Satan shudders and says, 'Crap, she's awake again...'"

HA! Happy Thursday!

On time!

Here's my Thursday Thirteen:

13 reasons I haven't blogged in the past week:

1. I have two preschool aged children (can that count for all 13??).

2. Mark is now finished with school which means we're spending time together as a family and going places. We are rarely home.

3. Work has been crazy! We're getting ready to remodel the clinic so I've been going in a bit early and coming home a bit late.

4. I am TIRED! I've been doing my best to get to bed SORT of early.

5. Misty, the other receptionist at the clinic, is going on vacation and I'm covering her hours. So, for the next week, I'll be working full time. Plus some. The money will be nice.

6. I've been trying to do less "computer time" and more "family time" whenever possible.

7. Even when I get up early, I run out of time. My kids sense that I'm up and want to get up, too. Or things are going on--today we are taking my in-laws to the airport. Its 5:55 AM. They should be here in about five minutes.

8. I get caught up in reading other blogs & articles and my self allotted computer time is gone before I know it!

9. I haven't taken many pictures lately and I *usually* try to post pictures whenever I post a blog. I'm not always successful, but I do try.

10. The kids haven't done many funny things lately. I mean, they're ALWAYS making us laugh, but nothing really "blogworthy" these days.

11. Andrew was sick again--that always takes a bit of a toll on all of us and our time.

12. We've been very social this week--lots of gatherings and stuff! Fun!

13. The kids. I have two of them. Ages 1 and 3. They keep me busy.

A day late...

My friend Dani did HER Thursday Thirteen and I didn't do mine! YIKES!

SO...here's my Thursday Thirteen a day late!

13 things I should be doing right now instead of sitting here blogging:

1. Dishes.

2. Laundry.

3. Clearing the dining room table so we could actually use it for "dining".

4. Sorting toys & clothes to pass on or get rid of.

5. Sweeping.

6. Mopping.

7. Cleaning the bathrooms--they are GROSS!

8. Trying to figure out why the bank thinks Mark's debit card was used by someone else when we've told them, more than once, all charges are accurate. As of right now, its still frozen and we can't use it. We are out of checks, too, so we are down to using cash only. Not necessarily a BAD thing, just annoying.

9. Figuring out what we want to eat for dinner tonight. I made a menu, now I just need to pick something.

10. Cleaning out the microwave--something spilled over and died in it. Its SO NASTY.

11. Potting some plants I bought.

12. Cleaning the bird pooh off our back deck. Ugh.

13. NAPPING.

Two weeks to recovery...

Chest x-rays came back clear but the sinus x-rays did not. As soon as the x-ray tech saw the films, she said, "Oh yeah...that's a sinus infection...its a doozy!"

The blood work indicates its viral, so antibiotics won't help. We get to wait it out and let it runs its course. We also have to watch for ear infections and pneumonia. *sigh* The fever should break and stay down tonight or tomorrow.

We opted out of admitting him and running tests because the pediatrition said it would be hard to get any concrete results unless we ran the tests while he actually had Pneumonia. So, she said, "We'll just wait and see...if he doesn't get Pneumonia again, great! But I honestly think we'll see it sometime in the fall or early winter."

In the mean time, we'll focus on lots of rest, lots of fluids and using lots of tissues.

Round 7, 8, 9??? I've lost track!

We are headed for ANOTHER round of x-rays & blood work on my Andrew-Boy. He's had another fever & cough for three days and has NO energy or appetite. I'm going to speak with his pediatrician today and we may push to admit Andrew for a long list of tests to see if we can figure out what's going.

I'll post more later as we learn more...

PLAY BALL!

Andrew loves baseball and spent this afternoon trying to pass that love on to Tori.
