Follow your gut!
I feel better having taken Andrew to the doctor--AGAIN. We went last week because he had a rash and we went today because he's had a fever for FOREVER and he's had a loss of appetite and he's been sleeping like crazy! I was feeling a little silly making him ANOTHER appointment. Well, we were there for 3.5 hours and they did chest x-rays and blood work. Turns out my little dude is one sick little dude! He has Bronchitis, Pneumonia, and possibly Mono. He's also severely dehydrated. *sigh* They are calling me with the results to his blood work tomorrow. They considered admitting him but decided to let me take him home and see how much he improves in the next 24 hours. If the bloodwork comes back positive for Mono, they will probably choose to admit him. If I can't keep fluids in him tonight, then I'm supposed to take him in tomorrow for admittance for fluids on IV. Ugh! What a day! But we are home now and we are grateful. I am amazed (and grateful!) at how patient and easy-going Andrew is. He let the lab gals poke him 3 times to get enough blood (took 45 minutes!!) and Tori was passed around all day from nurse to nurse so I could hold my little guy. He even sat still as still could be for his chest X-rays and we managed to get them on the first try! Whew! What a day! Here's hoping the new antibiotics work and we might *REALLY* be on the mend!

Wow. Poor little dude! And good job for following your gut!!
I was going to respond to the quirky list from below, then saw the post about Andrew and forgot all about my aversion to sharks.
Mono!? Where'd that come from?
Poor mommy! Once you have a child you feel double (or more) what your child feels.
Andrew, just feel better, fast.
Guess it's time to send another card. More powerpoint practice.
Just, ya'll feel better fast.
I read your previous post this morning and thought to myself, "Man, that sounds like a toddler version of mono. Whoever heard of THAT!?" Then lo and behold, this second posting.
I'm VERY glad you followed your gut! We'll be praying for Andrew tonight. Keep those fluids down, bud!!!
Can you please tell Andrew to quit kissing all the ladies in the nursery...that's how germs are spread...obviously!!!
In all seriousness...we'll be praying for the little guy to keep some fluids down, and for peace for you guys while you await the results! God is good!
